Nikobear's Nook

A "Tiny Cabin" that is BIG on amenities. "Nikobear's Nook" offers you everything to make your mountain escape memorable. It's quite possibly the only tiny cabin offering a king-size murphy bed plus a double bed in the loft. A fully equipped kitchen with retro styled appliances including a gas stove, microwave, toaster and even an air fryer. A generous supply of spices and cutlery makes meal prep a breeze. Enjoy the custom tile shower with rain head + 8 body jets. Dogs will love the secure yard.

The space

Perfectly located off Hwy. 19/129, Nikobear's Nook affords easy access to Murphy, NC as well as Blairsville and Blue Ridge, GA. It is the perfect escape to enjoy all the lovely activities this area provides. Hiking, shopping, dining, rafting, boating venues are all nearby, as is Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino. Even a visit to the quaint Bavarian village of Helen, GA is under an hours drive time through the beautiful Smoky Mountains.

Guest access

Guests will be provided with a personal 4-digit entry code the day before arrival. This code will be active the day of arrival from 30 minutes prior to the check-in time until 30 minutes after check-out time on the day of departure. This same 4-digit code can be used to disarm the Simplisafe Security System should you decide to set it while you are away or retired for the evening. But please don't take the presence of an alarm system as an indication of the kind of area you are staying in. Country Lane at Lake Wells is a wonderful, quiet community with very friendly neighbors. You'll feel like your in a tree house when you've come out to the porch to "Set a spell". Relax around the fire pit...remembering the days' explorations. You will say..."This is My Mountain Escape!"

Other things to note

As dog owners ourselves, we know how important it is to have your pets close and safe. We have included gates on the porch access areas designed to keep dogs securely on the porch with easy access to the dog yard area. Please be sure to always completely latch the gates before allowing your dogs to roam the porch. We have also provided a doggie poop station for your convenience. Please be sure to pick up after your dog(s). We (and our guests) sincerely thank you for your consideration in this area.

Note that the loft sleeping area is accessed via a ladder and has limited head room. (Approximately 4.5 feet) so is better suited for younger kids and grown-ups that don't mind climbing up and down a ladder to use the kitchen or bathroom.

Entertainment is provided with a 58" Roku TV to stream your favorite shows and a blue-tooth sound system in the bath.
